A ten-pence chew bar with a raspberry flavour that does not exist anywhere in nature and sherbet pieces embedded in it.

It came in a purple wrapper with a cartoon on it and stuck to your teeth with genuine determination. Dentists have opinions.

Still made in Scotland, still the same, still ferociously sweet.
