Alec Issigonis' small car: cheap, honest, endlessly repairable, and still on the road seventy years later.
The Minor put Britain on wheels the way the Beetle did Germany. Split windscreen early on, then the familiar one-piece, and the Traveller with its structural ash frame that rotted if you looked at it.
It was designed to be mended at home with basic tools, which is exactly why so many survive. Nothing on it is a mystery.
