Sooty whispered in Harry's ear and Harry told the audience. Sweep squeaked. Soo was not allowed on screen for years in case a female puppet implied a relationship, which is a real thing that really happened.
The water pistol was the reliable finish and it never once stopped being funny to anybody under nine.
