A board game so simple it was mostly an argument.
Four counters, one die, and a rule about sixes that every family interpreted differently.
Ludo was in every house because it was cheap and took ten minutes. The board was usually printed on the back of a Snakes and Ladders board, which saved everybody money.
The real feature was the house rules. No two families played the same game, and both were certain the other was cheating.
