Nero Burning ROM, a stack of CD-Rs, and a compilation handed over in a paper sleeve with the tracklist on the disc.
Burning at 4x because faster speeds caused errors. Buffer underrun ruined the disc entirely and you threw it in the bin.
It was the mixtape's last format. Handing someone a CD you had made was a statement, and the handwriting mattered.
